Smarter Poses, Smarter Bodies! – Silly vs. Smart

This one is for all the folks trying to twist out the toxins in their bodies! 

It is so important to create space before you turn in during any pose. Rounding your back, slouching your shoulders and dropping gaze can all be easily prevented or remedied in this twisted shape.

Don’t be silly, slow down your transition! Before moving in, lengthen your spine up. Lift the twisting arm towards the sky as your breath in. As you exhale, twist. Broadening chest, lifting gaze, and maintaining your fearless spine.

Don’t sacrifice a good and healthy posture for a fast twist, always take your time and keep your spine and shape aligned to achieve a better pose!
